Lunar Astrology Tarabalam calculates the effect of one tara (aka. nakshatra or asterism) on another, and vice versa. The effect is asymmetric, meaning that the effect of one on the other varies with the direction of calculation.
  1. To know mental compatibility between two individuals whose nakshatras (asterisms) are known. This hints at how two individuals relate to each other. The asymmetic nature of the tarabalam make this even more interesting.

  2. To know the suitability of a particular day (moon in an asterism) to an individual's asterism. This result could be used as a daily guide to plan one's day.
